Community members are helping the family of a sick local boy, and you can be a part of it.

7-year-old Tiverton resident Liam Chapman was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia back on November 19th, after a brief illness. Liam will be undergoing a two-year treatment which includes and may not be limited to Chemotherapy, Steroid and Physical Therapy. With the painful treatments, the brave Liam also has spent a good number of days in the hospital.

In addition to a GoFundMe fundraiser, there will be a fundraising basketball tournament and 3-point competition on Saturday, April 6th at Pocasset School in Liam’s honor to help raise money to assist the family with medical and other expenses. Additionally, there are merchandise items that can also be purchased with the proceeds going towards Liam’s fundraising efforts.
