The City of Fall River is offering a reward after a dumping that took place this weekend on a city street.

According to Mayor Paul Coogan, a $200 reward is being offered for anyone with information connected to the individual(s) responsible for the dumping of the above mattresses at Wilson Road.

It appears that over a dozen mattresses were left on the side of the road and into the road.

Effective November 1, 2022, mattresses are banned from disposal or transport for disposal in Massachusetts.

Coogan stated that if you have any information, leave a message at the Mayor’s Office at 508-324-2600 and your call will be returned.
