City of Fall River hosting Food Truck Festival
Fall River’s Second Annual Food Truck Festival is once again being hosted by the City of Fall River.
The event plans on having about 10 trucks participating. Most of the trucks will be local, but some new additions from surrounding communities have been added this year.
The first Food Truck Festival held in October of 2016, was incredibly popular both for the attendees and the truck owners.
The event will take place this year at The Gates of The City on Saturday, May 26th at 1 p.m.
According to Monica Sousa, May was selected this year to highlight small business month considering these Food Trucks are all entrepreneurs and small business owners and deserve some highlighting and recognition.
All of the trucks that are participating have been asked to make a donation to The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall Committee and there will be Veteran representatives there to collect the donations on the day of the event to recognize our Veterans and their families who have made the ultimate sacrifice to serve our country. A fitting tribute for Memorial Day weekend.
