City of Fall River announces full list of activities across the waterfront for July 4th
(FALL RIVER, MA- June 22, 2023)- Mayor Coogan has announced that there will be additional programming for the City of Fall River’s July Fourth fireworks display, all along the waterfront for the evening of Tuesday, July 4th, 2023, sponsored by BayCoast Bank.
The fireworks over the Taunton River will begin at 9 p.m. Prior to the fireworks display, there will be music and food trucks at the City Pier, Heritage State, and Veteran’s Memorial Bicentennial Parks.
The following activities will start at 5 p.m. at these locations:
Senator Thomas Norton City Pier:
Face painting
Airbrush & Glitter Tattoos
Caricaturist
Photo booth
Food trucks:

· What’s Up Cupcake
· Ice N’ Roll
· Troy City- Beer Garden
· Party With Primo- Wine & Sangria
Heritage State Park Meadow:

Veteran’s Memorial Bicentennial Park:
There will be a sunset concert with the 215th Army band performing patriotic classics. There will also be the 101st FA gun salute. The performance will run from 7p.m.-9p.m.in front of the Iwo Jima Monument. The Dorothy Cox Ice Cream Cart and Big Dog Eats are the two food trucks that will be in attendance during the performance.
The following morning, Wednesday, July 5th, the Mayor’s Office will lead a volunteer clean-up around the waterfront. Anyone who wants to volunteer should meet outside the Heritage Park Visitors Center at 8 a.m. where tools and supplies will be available.
