A woman attempted to jump off of the Braga Bridge in Fall River this morning.
According to Massachusetts State Police, both troopers and Fall River responders arrived on scene after receiving a call at approximately 7:20 a.m. for a possible female jumper on the bridge. Responders were able to remove the woman from the rails and get her into custody. She was transported to St Anne’s Hospital.
A witness described the scene and how she tried to help. “I was on my way to work and witnessed this woman pull over and run towards the rails and tried to climb up. I immediately pulled over and tried to get her down along with two other men.”
