BuyBlackNB announces Pop-up Vendor Market in Fall River

Back by popular demand, BuyBlackNB is hosting an outdoor event on April 16th in Fall River with a hand-selected, diverse group of local vendors offering you an opportunity to find your next favorite product! Coming off of a wildly successful first market season, Buy Black NB will host an event in Fall River to offer a day to enjoy art, food, clothing, children’s entertainment and handmade goods.

Black businesses have suffered huge losses during the COVID-19 quarantine. So BuyBlackNB is creating a safe space to support them and allow you to #BuyBlack. Shop a curated selection of local Black-owned businesses while enjoying music, giveaways, networking, and community building.

For children there will be free Easter Bunny Photos by Ever After Storybook Entertainment. There will be live entertainment and free admission with advance registration here.

“There was something so special about our first market season in 2021,” said Justina Perry of New Bedford, who has been a catalyst in bringing regional exposure to Black-owned businesses since starting the initiative in June 2020. “April 16th kicks off a full schedule of events planned for 2022.”

“It’s Easter weekend so we’ll have vendors with products, desserts and spring apparel looking to build relationships with new customers,” says Perry, Founder and Director of Buy Black NB. “We are looking forward to hosting this event in Fall River!”

The event will take place from 10AM – 3PM at South Second Street in Fall River with two food trucks already confirmed.
