Burlington will add to the list of stores re-opening in Fall River.

According to store manager John C Diiorio III, Burlington Fall River is due to re-open tomorrow, 6/12, at 9am. The location is planning big discounts in the store.

The location had been closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to a letter by Michael O’Sullivan, Chief Executive Officer, Burlington Stores, the plan to implement social distancing practices in their stores include:

-Signage to remind customers and associates to practice social distancing and remain at least six feet apart
-One way entrances and exits at the front of the store and in the department aisles
-Wider check-out lanes, with social distancing markers on the floor, and
-Increased space at each register between customers and associates

In addition, the chain will routinely clean and disinfect all areas of the store, including frequently cleaning high-touch areas, providing sanitization materials throughout the store, making shopping cart wipes available, and having deep cleaning response plans in place. Associates will be screened before returning to work, wear face coverings while in the store, and be provided gloves.

The location is also looking to immediately fill flex positions for both cashier and salesfloor.

Dartmouth Mall is also re-opening some stores on Friday with restrictions and a change of hours.

Much of the SouthCoast Marketplace has also re-opened or is about to.
