A 32-year-old Bristol County Meth-Amphetamine trafficker was sentenced to state prison last month in Fall River Superior Court, Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III announced.

Timothy Sproul of Attleboro pled guilty to a single count indictment charging him with Trafficking in Excess of 18 Grams of Meth-Amphetamine. He was sentenced to serve two to three years.

On November 3, 2021, Attleboro Police executed a search warrant at Sproul’s Leedham Street residence and seized 85 grams of pills that were pressed with meth-amphetamine and packaged for sale, along with digital scales and other indicia of drug dealing.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Matthew Lopes and the state prison sentence was imposed by Judge Valerie Yarashus.

According to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, Sproul has previously served county jail sentences for assaultive behavior and larceny of a motor vehicle.

“I am pleased the defendant was held accountable for trafficking meth, which is highly addictive and a potent stimulant that can seriously impact one’s behavior,” District Attorney Quinn said.

” I’m please the defendant was held accountable for trafficking meth ” 2-3 years out in 11 months? That’s being held accountable? District Attorney Quinn is a clown and the sentence is a joke. Keep releasing people who are directly responsible for the degradation of society
