Breakdown of construction, street milling, and street paving to take place this week

Fall River – A bulletin has been issued to give residents and drivers a heads-up concerning construction, street paving, and street milling that is expected to take place in the city this week.

The following streets are scheduled for Liberty / Ferreira construction activity this week:

Sevigny Street
Freelove Street
Grattan Street
Wamsutta Street
Locust Street (Locust @ Johnson Street intersection)
Lark Street
Consul Street
Prospect Street
Rodman Street (heading east towards Plymouth Avenue) **NIGHT WORK STARTING SUNDAY 7/10 7PM – 5AM**
Hyacinth Street

Starting Friday 7/8/2022 the following streets are scheduled to be milled:

Ray Street – Milton Street to Florence Street
Renwood Street – Reading Street to Ray Street
Kane Street – Reading Street to Ray Street
Hemlock Street – Ray Street to Dead End
Spruce Street – Coolidge Street to Dead End

Starting Monday 7/11/2022 the following streets are scheduled to be milled:

Weetamoe Street –Ray Street to Dead End
Titus Street – Ray Street to the end of gas main
Ray Street – Spruce Street to Hood Street
Hood Street – Ray Street to Greenlawn Street
Greenlawn Street –Hood Street to Weetamoe Street
Wood lawn Street – Hood Street to Weetamoe Street

Starting Tuesday 7/12/2022 the following streets are scheduled to be milled:

Robeson Street – Highland Avenue to Harvard Street
Harvard Street – Robeson Street to Madison Street 5-year moratorium

All paving will begin Monday 7/11/2022 starting in the same order as milling. All milled roads should be paved by the end of the day Friday 7/15/2022.
