Fall River up to 1,714 COVID-19 cases; deaths remain at 114

Fall River saw additional cases of COVID-19 in Thursday’s report.

The City saw 6 cases in today’s report, according to the Mayor’s Office. This makes the total in Fall River increase to 1,714.

The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.

The death toll from the coronavirus in Fall River remains at 114.

Friday’s report revealed 4 new cases. On Saturday, the City stated one new case of COVID-19. Sunday saw 5 more cases. Monday’s report showed 5 additional cases. On Tuesday, 7 more cases were announced. Friday added 6 cases of COVID-19

The City continues to encourage residents to practice social distancing. This means keeping a distance of 6ft between individuals. Continue to wash your hands on a regular basis, clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces, and stay home as much as possible, especially when you are sick, and wear a face covering when out in public. These measures will help to limit the spread of COVID-19.

The City wants to remind residents that Government Center Reopened to the Public on June 8 by appointment only.
 Appointments from 10:00am to 4:00pm, Monday – Thursday
 Closed to the public on Fridays, Weekends, and Holidays
