Braga Bridge inspection work on I-195 to cause lane closures for a week in Fall River, Somerset
FALL RIVER AND SOMERSET – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation is announcing that it will be conducting routine bridge inspection operations on the Braga Bridge on Interstate 195 over the Taunton River in Fall River and Somerset. The inspection operations will begin on Monday, April 26, 2021, and are expected to be completed in one week. The work will take place weekdays, Monday through Friday, during daytime hours from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The work will require temporary single lane closures of the right travel lane in both eastbound and westbound directions. Traffic management will consist of standard temporary traffic control utilizing police details.
Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
All scheduled work is weather dependent and/or may be impacted due to an emergency situation.
