Boyfriend of missing Massachusetts woman found dead is charged with her murder, dumping her
The boyfriend of a missing Massachusetts woman that was found dead has now been charged with murder.
40-year-old Sherell Pringle, also known as “Rell”, was last seen by her mother on December 18, between the hours of 12-2pm before she was found December 21 in a marsh on the side of Route 107 in Saugus.
According to family, Sherell told her mother that she was going on a date the night of her disappearance with 44-year-old Bruce Maiben of Lynn. He told the family he dropped her off at home in Woburn between the hours of 3:00am-3:30am, but family believes that is not accurate. Family and friends say that Maiben was scheduled to meet with police, but never showed up.
Maiben was arrested on December 22 and appeared in Lynn District Court on December 23 on charges of larceny over $1200, obstruction of justice, and tampering with evidence.
On Tuesday, Maiben was held without bail on the new murder charge in Lynn District Court.
Woburn Police had taken to social media to ask the public for assistance in finding Pringle.
