A good pitching performance by Drew Pomeranz gave the Boston Red Sox a 6-3 win over the Houston Astros and a division title over the charging New York Yankees.

John Farrell becomes the first Red Sox manager to win 3 division titles.

The Red Sox will face the Astros Thursday in Houston for game 1 of ALDS.
