A body was spotted about 7 a.m. off the waters of Colt State Park.

A quahogger called in the alert this morning.

The body has been recovered and was taken to Colt State Park.

The Medical Examiner is conducting an investigation with DEM Environmental Police and the Narragansett Bay Marine Task Force.

The investigation is ongoing and no other details are available.
