Bike parade, games, contests, music, and enterntainment at Quequechan River Festival
There is plenty of fun to be had at this year’s Quequechan River Festival.
The festival is set to take place June 30th from 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Britland Park on Wordell Street in Fall River.
Before the festival kicks off, there will be a helmet giveaway from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. as a lead up to a bike parade beginning at 121 Martine Street. The parade kicks off at 12:30 p.m. along the Quequechan River Rail Trail (helmets required for 18 an under). There will be a police escort at all street crossings. Decorating your bike is encouraged. Small repairs will also be available on site.
At Britland Park, there will be both field games and regular games along with face painting, fun with animals, fishing lessons, a fishing contest, and environmental arts and crafts.
If music and entertainment is your thing, there will be bands, giant bubbles, pirates, giant puppets, mad scientists, and hula hoops. There will even be a magician show and a visit from Spider-Man.
