Berkley native killed in motorcycle crash
A Berkley native has been identified as the victim of Saturday’s fatal motorcycle crash in East Bridgewater.
Cory E. Smith, 31, died in the weekend crash when his motorcycle and a vehicle collided on Plymouth Street at approximately 3:30 p.m.
After responders arrived on scene, Smith was transported to Brockton Hospital where he passed away.
According to an online obituary, Smith was a graduate of Bristol Plymouth High School, Class of 2006. He was a welder at Alloy Casting since graduation. He was described as a dedicated and hard worker who enjoyed his job and being with his co-workers. His hobbies included his motorcycle, corvettes, playing video games, tinkering with computers, and maintaining his automobiles.
