SWANSEA, MA – Is your house cluttered with old bills, bank statements or other sensitive documents? Get them safely and securely destroyed at BayCoast’s Free Community Shred Day, happening on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 9:00am to noon at this year’s new event location – BayCoast Bank, 330 Swansea Mall Drive in Swansea, Massachusetts.

The Shred Day Event is open to the public and will be held rain or shine, so come on down on May 17th and drive up with up to two boxes of documents to be shredded. The mobile shred trucks will immediately destroy your personal information right on-site.  Volunteers will be available to give you a hand, so you can shred it and forget it!

With a growing number of thieves attempting to steal sensitive information and commit fraud, this is the perfect opportunity to have your personal documents shredded, so don’t miss out!

“We are excited to invite the entire community to our BayCoast Bank location at 330 Swansea Mall Drive for Shred Day on May 17th,” said John McMahon, Senior Vice President, Community Engagement for BayCoast Bank. “Identity theft is a serious crime impacting millions of Americans every year. Safeguarding your personal information has never been more important. We encourage our neighbors to visit us for this annual event, which will not only help protect their privacy but provide peace of mind. We hope to see you there!”

Community Shred Day is brought to you by BayCoast Bank, BayCoast Insurance and Plimoth Investment Advisors.
