Fall River, MA (February 19, 2019)- BankFive recently awarded a $30,000 grant to the Narrows Center for the Arts in Fall River. The donation will be paid over three years at $10,000 per year.

The donation is intended to help the Narrows Center for the Arts with expansion of operations and programming, establish a permanent home for the arts in Fall River and revitalize the area.

The Narrows Center for the Arts was founded in 1995 for the promotion and enjoyment of the visual and performing arts. The Narrows, a fully accessible venue, is comprised of two visual art galleries, a performance theater and visual artist studios.

The organization’s mission is to present music that matters and art that inspires, to engage and educate people of all ages in Fall River and the southern New England area, and to partner with other like-minded local and regional organizations as a hub for culture and the arts.
