Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Somerville Chief of Police Charles Femino have confirmed the ongoing investigation into the death of an Everett woman and the hospitalization of a Somerville woman.

On Friday, Everett Police responded to a Bucknam Street home for a woman in medical distress.  That woman, 35-year-old Nicole Sandoval who resided at the home, was transported to CHA Everett where she was pronounced dead.

The preliminary information suggests that the woman had a medical procedure done the prior day at a home in Somerville.  Over the course of the investigation, it was learned that another woman had also undergone a medical procedure at the same location.  That woman was transported to a Boston hospital where she remains.  The investigation into the details of the alleged medical procedure and how the women’s injuries were sustained is ongoing at this time, however, multiple media outlets have suggested that the procedure was a liposuction.

In a GoFundMe fundraiser, Sandoval was described as a charismatic, ambitious, hardworking woman who had 3 and 5-year-old daughters and died due to a bad procedure.

This case has been referred to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and a ruling on the cause of death is pending.

This investigation is being conducted by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office and Somerville Police.

Anyone with any information should contact Somerville Police at (617) 625-1600 or Massachusetts State Police Detectives at 781-897-6600.

Fecal transplant?? I think an IQ of 2 is required to know that there’s a reason feces are eliminated by the body. Why in the name of God woukd anyone want a fecal transplant? Am I missing something here?
