Attleboro La Salette Festival of Lights to display 400,000+ lights over 10 acres of land beginning this month
La Salette will continue their popular Festival of Lights tradition this year bringing several hundred thousand to view the beautiful display.
The National Shrine of La Salette Festival of Lights will begin on November 23, 2023, and will run until January 1, 2024.
The Annual Festival of Lights is a beautiful religious light display with more than 400,000 lights covering over 10 acres of land. The lights are generally lit from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. even when closed on Christmas.
Seeing the display is free of charge, but donations are appreciated.
The Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette issued the following statement.
“As Christmas nears, Isaiah’s words, “Comfort, comfort my people” (Isaiah 40:1), resonate. These words, once aimed at those seeking solace after Jerusalem’s fall and exile in Babylonia, hold contemporary relevance. In today’s uncertain, divided world—with conflicts like Ukraine, Myanmar, Sudan, and the Middle East, cultural polarization, and climate concerns—there’s a clear need for comforting words of hope and healing.”
“Amid La Salette’s enchanting Christmas Festival of Lights, we gather to celebrate Jesus Christ, our wellspring of hope. Emmanuel, Jesus Christ, walks with us, inspiring and guiding us.”
“In this Advent and Christmas Season, may Isaiah’s message and La Salette’s Christmas Lights ignite hope and comfort. May Christ’s presence bring you peace, serenity, and joy, inspiring you to share comfort with those who struggle and hope with those who are disheartened.”
“Warm wishes for a blessed Advent and Christmas Season.”
