Armed robbery at local eatery in Fall River
UPDATE: Investigation has determined it was an unarmed robbery of the tip jar.
Just after 6:00 p.m. a white male took the tip jar at China Star on 390 Rhode Island Avenue in Fall River and was seen fleeing the scene on foot.
The weapon was left behind.
The suspect was described as 5′ 9″ stocky build, black hat, black shirt, jeans, and in his twenties.
