Another Taunton resident wins $1 million prize
According to Massachusetts State Lottery, Taunton has another $1 million winner.
David Hurst of Taunton has won a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “The Fastest Road to $1 Million” instant ticket game.
Hurst chose the annuity option on his prize and received the first of 20 annual payments of $50,000 (before taxes). His winning ticket was purchased at Roche Bros. Supermarket, 377 Chestnut St. in Needham. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of the ticket.
There are 61 additional $1 million prizes yet to be claimed in “The Fastest Road to $1 Million” $30 instant game.
He is the fourth Taunton resident to win at least $1 million since August.
