All Friends Smokehouse in Westport closing it’s doors

All Friends Smokehouse of Westport will be closing it’s doors at the end of the month.

All Friends Smokehouse was established in October of 2014 on the principles of Chef/Owner Jonathan Abreu to provide homemade food prepared with fresh and from scratch ingredients. Texas BBQ with a New England twist.

Owner Jonathan Abreu issued a statement on the impending closure of his restaurant at 549 American Legion Highway:

To Our Valued Customers and Friends…

It is with much sadness that I inform you that I have decided to close the restaurant and catering business at the end of the month. While this was a very difficult decision, it is the best decision for myself and my family. I have lived out a dream for the past 4 years, and cannot thank all of the amazing people who have allowed me to cater their special events, or dined at the restaurant. I have overcome many obstacles since opening in a location I was told was “doomed” from the start. I have made it work and grown the business each year, and for that I am forever grateful!

There are many factors that played an important role in my decision from increasing rent and costs to maintain the business, my own personal health and stress, the inconsistency of business through summer and winter months, and quality of life. I have been presented with an amazing opportunity to better provide for my family and that is something that I cannot turn down. My family will always come first amongst anything else, and my wife and daughter have sacrificed us not having enough time together, missing countless gatherings, and the list goes on and on, that I have made the decision to close and be able to provide a better quality of life for my family, and myself.

I will never forget what I have accomplished here, and all of the wonderful people who helped me along the way. To my amazing customers who became regulars and friends, I hope you will join us over the next week or so to enjoy one last meal, and allow myself and my staff, a chance to say goodbye. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart, I will never forget how you helped change my life!

Wed-Thurs 12pm-8pm

Fri-Sat 12pm-9pm

Sun 12pm-6pm
