Luck was on the side of a Massachusetts man who picked the right game to win a big State Lottery payday.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Ruben Rosario of Lawrence is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 In The Money” $10 instant ticket game.

He chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). Rosario plans to save and invest the winnings.

Rosario told the Lottery that he likes to play different tickets, but picked a winner at one of his favorite stores.

He purchased his winning ticket at Ted’s Stateline Mobil, 551 Broadway in Methuen. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

$4,000,000 In The Money has three $4,000,000 and six $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
