After basketball and football tilts, Fall River Police to take on Fall River Fire in hockey game for charity
The Fall River Police and Fire Departments are once again battling it out for charity.
After recently facing off in football and basketball where FD earned bragging rights, PD is looking to bounce back.
On Saturday, September 2nd, at 4:00 p.m. at Driscoll Skating Arena, there will be a Badge vs. Badge Fundraiser Hockey Game.
The event is being organized by the unions on both sides.
The money raised will benefit both the Fallen Officers Memorial Trust of the Fall River Police and a current L1314 member, Sean Kenyon, who is battling cancer.
Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased both at the door or in advance via Venmo, payable to @globe-canteen. When buying via Venmo, put your name and number of tickets in the description. Tickets purchased in advance will be able to be picked up at will call on game day. Anyone wishing to donate can also send money to the above Venmo.
Buy some tickets, make it a family night, and come support two great local causes.
