Fall River Police Department responds to early morning shots fired call

Fall River Police responded to a call of an early Friday morning shooting in the city.

According to scanner transmissions, a call came in for shots fired just before 1:45 a.m. at the 50 block of Forest Street.

Officers arrived on scene and appeared to find evidence of multiple shots fired.

No word yet on any suspects or possible injuries.
