A local daughter has reached out to the community asking for help to heat her family home.

Tessa Dube of Fall River organized a GoFundMe fundraiser detailing her family’s struggle with making ends meet. Dube shares that her father has been struggling to maintain a long-term job and that their home has no heat or hot water after their gas was shut off.

Dube attends college and her father cares for her younger sister while she is at school. Dube’s mother, Kathleen Dube, passed away from cancer several years ago.

Friends of the family reached out to Fall River Reporter saying they had no idea how much the family was struggling since her passing and asked us to share their story.
