Massachusetts State Police, Fall River, and Somerset personnel respond to multi-vehicle crash with injuries on I-195
Massachusetts State Police, Fall River, and Somerset personnel responded to a late-night crash at the foot of the Charles Braga Bridge.
According to Trooper Luis Blanco, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Troopers of the State Police Dartmouth barracks responded to a 2-car crash on Interstate 195 East in the area of mile marker 10.8 in Somerset.
Fall River Fire and Rescue were on scene to assist.
Both drivers were transported to a local hospital for injuries.
According to scanner transmissions, one of the drivers was trapped and had to be extricated.
The crash is under investigation.
