As the holiday season approaches, Karissa and Ray Cantelmo have announced their 2nd annual Christmas Charity Fundraiser “Operation Christmas.” This special event is dedicated to supporting local families in need during the holiday season.

This year, the party is set to be even BIGGER featuring a night to eat, drink and be merry while celebrating the holiday season and spreading some Christmas cheer. There will be live music by DJ DK, a photobooth, raffles, and games. There will also be a cash bar for anyone that would like to get very merry and is 21+.

100% of the proceeds will be used to purchase gifts for families in need. They will also be accepting in house donations- toys, clothes, necessities.

The fundraiser has become a cherished tradition for the AAU Basketball program. Last year over $3,400 was raised and some of the players went shopping for families in need instilling the value of giving and helping others. Blessing Bags were also made with the help of the Fall River CYO.

The event is taking place December 14th from 7:00 p.m.to midnight at The Liberal Club on Star Street in Fall River.

Tickets can be purchased online at Eventbrite and can also be purchased in person by texting or messaging Karissa Cantelmo or Ray Cantelmo.

If you cannot attend but would still like to donate to help the cause, there is a donation only option also at Eventbrite.
