Massachusetts State Police, local police, investigating after dead body found inside burned vehicle on Cape Cod
Cape & Islands District Attorney Robert Galibois has announced that The MA State Police Detectives Unit assigned to the Cape and Islands District Attorney’s Office and the Sandwich Police Department are actively investigating an incident involving a car fire and the discovery of human remains.
A 911 call was made Monday morning, when a burned vehicle was discovered in the vicinity of Quaker Meeting House Road in the town of Sandwich. Upon local authorities responding to the call, human remains were discovered inside the burned vehicle.
Following a preliminary investigation, the District Attorney stated that there is no threat to public safety and no other information would be released as the investigation is still active.
