Tiverton and Fall River Fire Departments respond to blaze with multiple explosions
Local crews recently extinguished a major fire that destroyed a home.
According to the Tiverton Fire Department, at just before 11:30 a.m. on Friday, firefighters were dispatched to 31 Fairfield Avenue for a reported structure fire.
Upon arrival, crews found a mobile home fully involved in fire with multiple oxygen bottles exploding.
Crews brought the fire under control within 30 minutes.
Mutual aid was called to the scene, including Fall River, and provided multiple tankers as the area does not have fire hydrants.
One party was transported to an area hospital for minor injuries.
The fire is still under investigation.
