Fall River 5-year-old starts business to give profits to charity, volunteers in community

A Fall River boy is making waves in the community, and he is only 5 years old.

According to his mother Bianca, Jaisper raised $357 in less than a month by selling spider plants and collecting donations at Glass House Cafe on 524 South Main Street in Fall River and through her Facebook marketplace.

Jaisper didn’t keep the profits for himself though. He donated all of them to Forever Paws Animal Shelter on Lynwood Street. The shelter was thankful for Jaisper’s generosity and gave him a tour remarking how he was an amazing kid.

As if that wasn’t enough, Bianca stated that her son’s giving back to Fall River isn’t limited to spider plants.

“He also helps by volunteering his time within his community by doing cleanups, serves people that need a hot meal, community baby showers, two laundry mats that provides free washing and drying, donates to different organizations, Cathy Assad Community Garden and much more. He is an amazing 5-year-old that’s always willing to help his community in any way he can.”

Great job Jaisper. You are well on your way to being a good businessman and an even better human being!
