Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority train slams into vehicle after being driven onto tracks
A Massachusetts driver is lucky to be alive after a misstep led to his vehicle being struck by a train.
According to the MBTA, at 8:45 p.m. at Central/Buckley Street in Stoughton, a 17-year-old operating a 2017 Toyota stated he took a wrong turn and ended up on the MBTA CR tracks & became stuck.
The vehicle was struck by the train while unoccupied.
No injuries were reported.
The tracks were inspected and cleared for service.
