Southcoast “Missed Connections” can help you find that person you met, even if they don’t know it

Before Facebook Marketplace, there was a thing called Craigslist. Apartments for rent, items for sale, you name it. Craigslist had it all in one spot and it was easy to search by location right on line.

But one of the lesser-known features of Craigslist was the feature called “Missed Connections.” Clicking on the link, it takes you to posts by people who have connected with someone, if even for a minute, who are trying to reconnect with that person again. It’s even possible that the person the poster is looking for doesn’t even know someone is seeking them out. From making eye contact with someone in an intersection to a conversation with a stranger while waiting in line, the posts are a way for people to try and find their “missed connection” and perhaps meet again.

The Southcoast has it’s own share of people looking to find their “person” once again. Here are some of the recent posts of people hopeful to find who they are looking for. You can see more of the “Missed Connections” on Craigslist here. Is someone searching for YOU?
