Fall River crews responded to a multi-vehicle crash down by the waterfront on Thursday evening.

A call came into dispatch just after 6:00 p.m. for a two-vehicle crash with rollover at Central Street and Davol Street causing traffic near the Food Truck Festival.

A witness stated that the driver of the vehicle that rolled over fell out of the sunroof but didn’t appear to be seriously injured.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Two ambulances were called to the collision.

Massachusetts State Police responded and Fall River Police directed traffic as the crash caused significant backup impacting Interstate 195.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
