Vehicle crashes into bridge abutment of overpass on Interstate 195 in Swansea
Crews responded to a serious highway crash on Tuesday evening.
At approximately 9:45 p.m., a call came into dispatch for a car crash on Interstate 195 West in Swansea at Vinnicum Road.
According to scanner transmissions, Swansea Fire and EMS located a car into a bridge abutment with the driver ejected.
The driver was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.
Massachusetts State Police could not confirm if there was an ejection, and the injuries were listed as minor.
