Fall River Police are investigating an evening shooting in the city.
At approximately 6:45 p.m. a call came into dispatch for a report of hearing 5 gunshots in the area of Monroe Court off Stanley Street with suspects possibly leaving the scene.
According to Det. Sergeant Moses Pereira, units are on scene after the department received multiple reports of shots fired in the area of President Village.

Perreira stated that evidence of a shooting has been located.
Stanley Street is currently blocked off in the area of Ray Street.
No word yet on if there are any injuries due to the shooting.
