Fall River woman says her cats were dumped in Rhode Island, one found dead, another still missing
A Fall River woman is looking for the public’s help to find one of her missing cats.
Leslie Reed says that two of her feral cats went missing in January from the Peck/Dwelly/Scott Street area.
The deceased female cat (pictured right) was mainly orange and found by animal control in Portsmouth, RI. She was chipped.
The still missing cat is a white male with an orange/white tail and one spot on his back with an orange/white head (pictured left). He is not chipped.
Reed believes that someone had to have trapped the two cats and dumped them because they would have not been friendly to the person who came in contact with them.
If you have any information on the deceased or missing cat, contact Fall River or Portsmouth Police.
