Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River organizes chapel wedding for hospice patient and family
A touching and heartwarming event recently took place at a Fall River hospital.
According to Southcoast Health, on Wednesday, nurses, providers and staff at Charlton Memorial Hospital were able to deliver joy and love to hospice patient John and his family.
With a wish to see his son, Alex, marry his best friend and fiancé, Nancy, everyone rallied together to make sure he would be part of their special day.
The care team happily helped plan a wedding in the hospital chapel where fresh bouquets of white flowers added the perfect touch to an already joy filled room of family and friends.
Carrying with him the ceremonial wedding bands, John sat front and center as he witnessed Alex and Nancy exchange beautiful vows.
Please join us and Southcoast Health in extending best wishes to John, Alex, Nancy and their loved ones.
Southcoast Health thanked the family for allowing them to be a part of their special day and thanked John’s care team for the beautiful demonstration of what it means to be “More than medicine”.
