Suspect walks into Plymouth County restaurant, shoots, kills, 22-year-old man
A man is dead after a shooting at a Massachusetts restaurant Friday evening.
A call came into dispatch just before 7:30 p.m. for a man injured in a shooting inside Hibachi Sushi Supreme Buffet, 718 Crescent Street, in Brockton.
According to scanner transmissions, upon arrival, officers were told that the suspect was a dark-skinned male wearing a ski mask and that he walked into the restaurant, shot the victim and then left.
Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz stated that the victim, 22-year-old Joe Araujo of Brockton, was pronounced dead.
Massachusetts State Police and Brockton Police are investigating the shooting which remains active and ongoing.
