A local crash on Saturday resulted in several people being taken to a hospital.
According to the fire department, Westport Fire and Police responded to a two-car crash on Route 6 earlier this morning.
There were no serious injuries, however, five patients were transported to an area hospital for evaluation.

Westport Engine 4, Rescues 1, 2, 3 and Car 2 responded. Mutual aid EMS was received from Fall River and Tiverton.
The crash is under investigation.
