Man who organized Patriots protest gets citation
It may have cost Mark Shane of Swansea $100 for his New England Patriots protest, but the cost for public safety personnel was much higher. Shane created the protest due to Patriots kneeling during the anthem of Sunday’s game.
Due to officers, firefighters, and other personnel put on duty for the event that brought about 100 people, it will cost the town thousands.
Shane did nothing legally wrong besides the burning and the Chief was doing what he thought was best for public safety. How many would attend was unknown at the time.
We know who will foot the bill, but who should? Does it come with the freedom we are allowed? Let us know what you think?
