Kingston man prohibited from possessing firearms arrested after allegedly manufacturing firearms with printer
Over the last few days, Kingston Detectives conducted an illegal gun possession investigation. The suspect, based on his history, is prohibited from possessing firearms.
According to Detective Lieutenant Michael Skowyra, the investigation alleged that the suspect was possibly in possession of a firearm, various firearms parts/ammunition, and was allegedly using a 3D printer to manufacture firearms.
Investigators were granted a search warrant for a residence on Howland’s Lane. Kingston PD executed that warrant late Saturday afternoon. The search resulted in finding the suspect in possession of a fully operational AR-style rifle, various firearms accessories, a 3D printer, 3D printed firearms
parts, body armor, Class E substances (steroids) and additional evidence (only a portion of the evidence is pictured).
Subsequently, 34-year-old Charles Santos of Kingston was arrested by detectives on the charges of Unlawful Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm, Possess Ammunition Without FID Card, and Possess Class E Drug.
Santos is scheduled to be arraigned in Plymouth District Court on Monday.
The investigation remains on-going.

These are the cases in which the morons on Beacon Hill will site on why we need to further infringe on law abiding citizens Second Amendment rights. Which is self contradictory considering the guy was a prohibited person to begin with and any new laws only serve to punish the law abiding as by nature criminals do NOT obey the law. The same hypocrites who want to ban civilian ownership of AR15s are protected by them and make sure provisions are written in any gun laws that allows the police to be exempt from said laws making sure they and their families are protected. In the hands of the average citizen the AR15 is a ” weapon on war ” However the same AR15 sitting in the state police car that chauffer’s Maura Healy around is called a ” patrol rifle ” hypocrite the lot of them.
