Separate crashes on Route 140, near Route 79 intersection, causes injuries to 3
Officials say that three were injured in two separate motor vehicle crashes on Monday.
The first crash occurred just after 6:30 a.m. on Route 140 south according to the Lakeville Fire Department.
An adult male was injured when his car rolled over on the highway.
Ambulance 3 transported the patient to St. Luke’s Hospital with injuries that did not appear serious.
LFD stated that at approximately 4:00 p.m., firefighters responded to a Bedford Street crash involving 3 vehicles. The accident occurred just north of the Route 79 intersection.
Ambulance 3 and Ambulance 2 transported 2 adult patients to St. Luke’s Hospital. Neither patient appeared to have life threatening injuries.
The crash caused the closure of Route 18 during patient care and the crash investigation.
