Mass. driver cited after violent collision with tree; had just dropped off passengers
A teenaged Massachusetts driver was injured in a serious collision on Friday, however, the result could have been even worse.
According to the fire department union, at approximately 11:00 p.m., police and fire responded to a single vehicle crash where an SUV left the road and crashed into a tree on Gardner Street in Hingham.
The jaws of life were used to free the trapped occupant who was transported from the scene.
Police stated that the 19-year-old driver was injured, and she had just dropped off her 2 passengers before the crash.
The driver believed she may have fallen asleep and was cited, according to police.

Is she a policeman’s daughter? If that happened from hitting a tree, she was speeding by quite a bit. People, most times, let off the pedal when they fall asleep.
