Names released of 17-year-old from Woburn, 20-year-old from Raynham killed in Wareham dirt bike crash
BROCKTON – Officials have released the names of two people killed in a dirt bike crash on Saturday, Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz announced.
At just after 10:45 p.m., Wareham Police received two 911 calls concerning a crash between a dirt bike and SUV in the area of 121 Marion Road.
Upon arrival, crews found two male victims unresponsive in the roadway with serious injuries.
Both victims were taken to Tobey Hospital in Wareham where they were pronounced dead.
A preliminary investigation revealed that 17-year-old Robert Stalker of Woburn and 20-year-old Brady Petrucci of Raynham were riding on a Kawasaki dirt bike that had no front or rear lights. The pair were also not wearing helmets when they collided with a Buick Envision. The operator of the Buick remained on scene.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
