Officials are investigating after man dies while skiing in Massachusetts
Officials are investigating a death that took place Monday morning at Wachusett Mountain Ski Area.
According to Dave Procopio of Massachusetts State Police, at approximately 10:30 a.m., authorities responded to the death of an adult male skier who was found unresponsive by another skier who was passing by.
The 67-year-old man, whose name was not released, was brought to the bottom of the mountain by the Ski Patrol after crashing into a tree and determined to be deceased.
State Police detectives assigned to the Worcester District Attorney’s Office and Crime Scene Services personnel are investigating, along with Princeton Police.
