Two transported to area hospitals with life-threatening injuries after crash on Route 79
Both fire and police departments responded Sunday morning to a serious single-vehicle crash on Route 79.
According to Chief Scott Fournier, at approximately 7:30 a.m., Berkley Fire Rescue responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash in the area of 75 Myrick Street (Route 79).
Upon arrival, first responders found that the vehicle had rolled onto its roof in the middle of the street.
The driver and passenger were transported to area hospitals with life-threatening injuries.
The Berkley Police Department and Massachusetts State Police also responded to the scene.
No other details were released.
