Fall River Police respond to report of fight with group of juveniles and possible shooting
Police in Fall River are investigating after a fight that may have led to a shooting.
According to Sergeant Moses Pereira, Fall River Police responded to Forest Street Tuesday evening at approximately 7:00 p.m. for a report of a fight and a possible gunshot.
It appears that there may have been a physical altercation involving a group of juveniles. By the time police arrived on scene, all parties involved had fled the area. Police have been unable to confirm as of yet the presence of a firearm during the altercation.
Pereira stated that anyone with information is asked to contact the Major Crimes Division at 508-324-2796. Anonymous tips can be provided by dialing 508-672-TIPS (8477).
