Fall River boy raising money for sick children
Fall River boy raising money for sick children
Michael is at it again. This time he is in the giving spirit.
In mid August, Michael set up a bake sale outside of his home at 631 Pokross Street. He baked the items to raise money to go to Santa’s Village in New Hampshire.
Saturday September 23rd and Sunday September 24th he will be selling toys to donate the proceeds to charity. The money collected will be used to buy Christmas gifts that will be passed out to sick children at Saint Anne’s hospital in Fall River.
His mother Amber can’t help but be proud. “Michael wanted to help sick kids around the holidays to make them smile and feel better. Help Michael help these kids.”
He will be out on Pokross St until 4 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday trying to spread a little sunshine on a cloudy day in Fall River.
